Volleyball Breaks Through, Knocks Off Firsr Ranked Opponent Since 2017
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The College of Southern Maryland volleyball program emphatically snapped its skid and in the process, picked up its biggest win in eight years, taking down NJCAA Division III's 14th-ranked Raritan Valley Lions to wrap up its second weekend of action.
Prior to Sunday's upset, the last time that CSM toppled a ranked foe was September 3, 2017 when they defeated #20 Rhode Island CC.

Hawks' Top Performers:
- Lelia Iafeta caught fire and helped Coach Sanders' crew cruise to victory, popping off for a career-high 17 digs (4.25 per set) and 15 kills (3.75 per set) en route to her first collegiate double-double.
- Amelie Lancioni tallied yet another double-double (what else is new), averaging 7.25 assists (29 total) and 3.25 digs (13 total) per set with four kills to boot.
- Taylor Hollinger and Deanna Kalkbrenner put a baker's dozen worth of points on the scoreboard apiece, combining for 21 kills, 11 digs, three aces and two blocks.
- Last but not least, Ana Salamanca had her best game of the season, recording 43 digs (10.75 per set) and serving up a trio of aces.
