The College of Southern Maryland Hawks golf team won the MD JUCO Conference Golf Championship on April 25 at Swan Point Golf Course. The Hawks beat Anne Arundel Community College by four strokes, finishing with a team score of 338.
The College of Southern Maryland Hawks golf team took second place at Oakland Golf Club on April 18, finishing three strokes behind Garrett College with a team score of 325.
Sophomore William Garrett took first place on April 11 at Cumberland Country Club by shooting a score of 75. Sophomore Tyler Potts placed third with a score of 79.
After their first two matches of the 2019 season, sophomores William Garrett and Tyler Potts sit atop the MD JUCO golf standings. Potts leads the way with 32 points with Garrett right behind him at 30 points.
On March 28, the College of Southern Maryland Hawks golf team begins their run at what they hope will land them another trip back to the NJCAA DII National Championship when they face Anne Arundel Community College.
