Two CSM Golfers Shoot Lowest Rounds of Their Season at Oakland
The College of Southern Maryland Hawks golf team took second place at Oakland Golf Club on April 18, finishing three strokes behind Garrett College with a team score of 325.
Sophomore William Garrett shot a team-low 76, finishing third among 17 golfers. He was awarded 15 MD JUCO points, bringing his season total to 63.
Sophomore Tyler Potts finished with a score of 78, good for fifth on the day. He added 13 points to his MD JUCO season total, putting him in second with 61 points behind Garrett.
Sophomore Mark Burgess ended his day in a three-way tie for seventh with a score of 81, his lowest round of the season. He received 10.5 MD JUCO points to push his season total to 41.5.
Freshman Jackson Bennett shot his lowest score of the season as well, 90, to receive four MD JUCO points and bring his season total to 10.
Freshman Jordan Lofton finished with a round of 107 to add another point to his MD JUCO season points total.
