Preview vs Howard

The Hawks go on the road Tuesday, October 9^th, when they face the Dragons of Howard CC. The Hawks are familiar with the Dragons, as they defeated them in four sets earlier this season at the Raptor Invitational on September 30^th.   

The Dragons are 3-15 this season, averaging five kills per set. They have 292 kills so far this season, with an attack percentage of 6.8%. The Dragons are led by Mumbi Murugi-Kamau, who has 126 kills this season, averaging just over three kills a set. Sydney Tucker is second on the team in kills with 59, followed my Elizabeth Quintin with 37.

The last time these two teams met, the Hawks won by a score of 3-1. Reagan Tuiasosopo and Zaiera Duckett led the Hawks' offense that day, combining for 25 of CSM's 42 kills. Duckett was named to the All-Tournament team that weekend, as she leads the Hawks with 66 kills, 63 digs, and 17 aces. Tuiasosopo is second on the team in kills with 53, and has 75 digs and eight aces.
