Preview Vs Garrett College

After last week's match was postponed, the Hawks look to take the court to try and earn their first victory of the season against the Lakers of Garrett College. 

The Lakers are 2-1 so far this season, suffering their first loss against Frederick Community College last Thursday.  As a team the Lakers average 5.33 kills, 3.44 service aces, and 7.33 digs per set. They are led by outside hitter/middle blocker Teyaurra Harris. The 5'10 outside hitter from Akron, OH leads the Lakers in kills with 18, with five service aces and 11 digs. Outside hitter G'Vahn Pace is an impact player as well, as she is second on the team with 12 kills, along with three service aces, and five digs. Other players to look out for are Sophomore Kendra Friend, who leads the Lakers with 18 digs, and freshman Samantha Kennell, who leads the team with nine service aces.

The Hawks are led by outside hitter Regan Tuiasosopo with 12 kills, 24 digs, and three service aces. Libero Alyssa Wilson anchors the back row with 33 digs, and sophomore right side hitter Savannah Carroll leads the Hawks in service aces with seven.

First serve is set for 6pm at CSM.
