After last week's game against CCBC Catonsville was postponed, the Hawks look to extend their win streak when they take on Cecil College.
The last time the Hawks played, they earned a 6-0 victory at Patrick Henry College. What was more impressive in their first victory was that they were able to work the ball around in the offensive zone, passing to the open teammate to take the best shot on net; rather than playing aggressively and solely focusing on shooting at the goal.
Cecil is coming off a 10-0 loss last Friday against Hagerstown Community College. Look for Cecil defenders Megan O'Neil and Ashley Kelly to help get the Cecil offense going, to outlet the ball to their offensive zone as both players have recorded a shot each after one game of play. For the Hawks, look for Karleigh Cohen to set the tone on the offensive end. Against Patrick Henry, she notched two goals, an assist, and 11 shots, four of them on goal. Keep an eye on Tamara Johnson to contribute on the offensive end as well, as she had a hat trick against Patrick Henry.
