Hawks 0-2 After First Weekend of 2023-24 Season

On November 10, the Hawks lost 59-54 to the Middlesex College Colts. Freshman guard/forward Toyin Allen led the Hawks in scoring with 21 points while securing a double-double with 10 rebounds. She also went 10-11 from the free-throw line. Sophomore guard Angeleen Mulero posted 12 points and led the Hawks in assists with six.
Sophomore forward Lillian Reynolds returns to the CSM roster with her outstanding defensive presence; she had 10 rebounds and six blocks. Sophomore forward Tayloni Ricks provided 10 points off the bench along with eight rebounds.
The Hawks then suffered another five-point defeat to the Virginia Peninsula Community College Gators on November 11, losing 77-72.
Mulero posted a career-high 26 points, shooting 10-16 from the floor; she also had seven assists and six steals. It was Allen's second straight game with a double-double using 21 points, as she also grabbed 11 rebounds. Allen led the Hawks in assists with eight.
Ricks provided 11 points and seven rebounds, and Reynolds had the inverse with 11 rebounds and seven points.
