Bio
Mehdi Essabbar brings a high-level competitive background to the team. This includes nationally ranked travel soccer, Olympic Development Program participation, junior college and semi-professional experience. He competed during the 2018 NJCAA Division I season at Richard Bland College. The team was nationally ranked and finished the season 14-3-2 while scoring 73 goals and maintaining a 0.73 goals against average.
A former NJCAA Division I student-athlete, Mehdi understands first hand the academic, physical and mental demands placed on junior college players and relates to their experience. He is currently active duty military and back stateside after completing a demanding sea rotation, bring leadership, discipline, resilience and a team first mind set into his coaching approach.
Mehdi is committed to developing student athletes both on and off the field while continuing to grow with in the collegiate coaching environment.
