CSM Hawks fall to CCBC Catonsville

Despite a strong effort in the first half, CCBC scored five goals in the second half, defeating CSM by a score of 5-0.

The Hawks' defense showed up after 45 minutes of play, as CCBC had eight shots in the first half, and at least three of them were on net that were saved by CSM goalie Hunter Vanzandt.  

The second half was a different story. Edixon Moreira Scored on an assist from Ronmel Alfaro three minutes into the second half. Four minutes later Keelan Fedison scored an unassisted goal to put CCBC up 2-0. Four minutes after that, Alfaro earned his second assist off of Edwin Moturi's goal to extend the lead to 3-0. CCBC became more aggressive on the offensive end with 10 shots in the second half, totaling eight shots on goal for the game, and added two more goals increase their lead; Fedison added another goal followed by Kevin Navarrete on an assist from Noah Young. CSM had one shot the entire game. 

The Hawks look to bounce back against Cecil College on Tuesday.
