Weekly Recap: Hawks Go 10-1 With Each Team Producing Walk-Off Winners
The College of Southern Maryland athletics program had an incredible week that saw baseball and softball boast a winning percentage of 90.9% with Leanne Fenwick walking off Chesapeake with a double and Lenell Evans’ three-run homer capping the Allegany doubleheader, both in extra innings.

- Top Performers
- Miranda Twigg secured all four victories in the circle for Coach Sanderson, posting a miniscule 2.14 ERA over 19.2 innings and striking out 25 batters.
- Emily Dove led the offense in both batting average (.750), hits (9), and slugging percentage (.917) in addition to driving in three, scoring thrice, and clubbing a pair of doubles.
- Carrie Hayden was the big run producer as four of her six hits went for two-baggers while collecting a Hawks-high eight RBIs.
- Brooke Colliflower was a fantastic blend of discipline as well as power, racking up five walks alongside five hits with four of those being doubles.

- Mason McReynolds is such a feared hitter, he gets pitched around often as he accrued a .739 on-base percentage via a team-best nine walks, eight RBIs, and seven runs scored, going 7-for-12 (.583) while amassing five extra-base knocks (three doubles and two homers).
- Ivan Gomez was the hits leader at eight whereas Luis De Los Santos averaged more than a ribbie per hit (1.17).
- Bryan Robinette was masterful on the mound, striking out 15 in nine frames to pick up a pair of dubs while allowing just a single earned run to give him an ERA of 1.00 and a WHIP at 0.78.
- Victor Bosquez (4.1 IP), Gustavo Okada (4.0 IP) and Devon Brunnemer (3.0 IP) all combined to throw 11.1 spotless innings plus ten whiffs thrown into the mix.
