LA PLATA, Md. - The College of Southern Maryland athletics program heads into MD JUCO and Region College 20 competition this coming week with the men still rolling along without a blemish while the women broke through for win number one on Saturday.

- Shamir Taylor was all that, a bag of chips plus a soda vs. Tidewater, scoring at will to the tune of 42 points on 12-of-20 (60%) shooting, as well as 12 rebounds to give him double-double vision, logged game-highs for assists (6) and steals (6), while making 15-of-17 (88.2%) from the line.
- Amir Dade would have been the headliner on most nights, putting together an impressive stat line of 25 points, nine rebounds, five assists and 52.9% (9-for-17) field goal percentage in his own right.
- James Hans was solid, collecting six points, six boards, three steals plus an assist.

- Amoni Taylor provided the scoring spark by averaging 20.5 points with six three balls (both team-highs) on top of playing stellar defense at five steals.
- The overall best defender was Desiree Barnes with nine takeaways, adding 18 points plus four assists on offense in addition to 17 boards.
- The post presence came from Sanaa Morrow at 21, grabbing ten of them for second chance opportunities whereas Cailyn Samuel led the Hawks in assists (6) and cobbled together 20 points for the stat sheet.
