CSM Hawks Spring Playoff Picture: Softball Rolls On, Baseball Battles In
The College of Southern Maryland Hawks are making noise this spring, with both softball and baseball squads punching tickets to the postseason.
Softball soared to a second-place finish in the conference, earning the right to host a Region 20 playoff series against Hagerstown. After winning game 1 and losing game 2, the Hawks bounced back to take Game 3 on Sunday, winning the series 2-1. Their reward is a spot in the championship weekend, where they'll take on CCBC Catonsville at 4:30 PM on Friday, May 9.

On the Baseball side, the Hawks enter the Region 20 playoffs as the No. 6 seed and are set to face off against Anne Arundel Community College on Tuesday, May 6 at 2 PM. The two teams split the regular-season series 2-2, setting the stage for a tense and competitive showdown.
