Following the recommendations from the NJCAA Presidential Advisory Council and the NJCAA Board of Regents, the NJCAA has announced its adjusted plan of action for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year by moving close-contact athletic programs in the fall and winter seasons to the spring.
In response to this, the College of Southern Maryland has announced its Return to Play plan.
Men's and women's cross country and women's lacrosse will be suspended for the 2020-2021 academic year. The nine remaining athletic programs will be permitted to hold up to eight hours of training sessions per week in the fall semester beginning the week of September 14th through November 21st to prepare for spring semester competition. From November 22nd through January 2nd, there will be no athletic activity at CSM.
