    Aaron Michael won his 50th game as head coach of the College of Southern Maryland baseball team on March 30 when his Hawks beat the CCBC Essex Knights 7-1 in Game 1 of their doubleheader at CCBC Essex. The Hawks dropped Game 2 by a score of 6-5.

    The College of Southern Maryland baseball team dropped both games of their season-opening doubleheader on March 6 against the Potomac State College of WVU Catamounts. The Hawks lost Game 1 by a score of 4-3 in seven innings and Game 2 by a score of 18-2 in five innings.

  • Baseball 2021 Season Preview

    The College of Southern Maryland baseball team will return to competition for the first time in nearly a year when they host the Potomac State College of WVU Catamounts on March 6 for their opening game of the 2021 regular season. The Hawks will take on the Catamounts in a doubleheader in La Plata, Maryland, with first pitch of Game 1 set for 1 p.m.
  • Spring 2021 Athletics Update

    CSM announces that outdoor sports competition for spring 2021 will proceed. Those sports will include baseball, softball, golf, men’s lacrosse (club), and men’s and women’s soccer. However, CSM is suspending competition for their indoor athletic programs, which include men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball, for the spring 2021 semester.
  • CSM Announces 2020-21 Return to Play Plan

    Nine of CSM's athletic programs will be permitted to hold up to eight hours of training sessions per week in the fall semester beginning the week of September 14th through November 21st to prepare for spring semester competition.
