The College of Southern Maryland cross country season came to an end on October 26 when both the men’s and women’s teams competed at the Maryland JUCO/Region XX meet at Hagerstown Community College.
Sophomore Sierra Walker and freshman Brittney Douglas finished fifth and tenth overall, respectively, out of 35 runners in the women’s 5K race at the MDJUCO and NJCAA Region XX Cross Country Championship on October 26 at Hagerstown Community College.
Three members of the College of Southern Maryland women’s cross country team ran their fastest 6K times of the season at the Hood College Open on October 19 in Frederick, Md.
Freshman Brittney Douglas and sophomore Sierra Walker finished first and second, respectively, in the women’s 6K race at the Goucher College Cross Country Classic on October 5 in Baltimore, Md.
