Hawks Fall to Potomac State, Look Ahead to Harford

The Hawks suffered another tough loss to Potomac State (WV) in three straight sets.

The first set the Hawks were outplayed as Potomac State won the first set easily by a score of 25-7. The Hawks were more competitive in the second set and was able to cut the deficit to at least three points a few times, keeping Potomac State at bay. Despite a valiant effort, the Hawks lost the second set by a score of 25-17. In the third set Potomac State was able to win the match handedly, by a final score of 25-13. The Hawks were led by Zaiera Ducket, who had seven kills and two digs,  Gabrielle Wilson, who had five kills and two digs, and Regan Tuiasosopo 

The Hawks will quickly turn around and look ahead to their match today against the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College.  The Owl's are 5-7 this season, 2-3 in conference play. They average seven kills and two aces per set. The Owls are led by 5'7 freshman Maria Lopez, who has 70 kills this season. Kayla Reiswig and Madison Scarpulla contribute to the offensive firepower as well, having 56 and 50 kills this season respectively.
