CSM Hawks take on the CCBC Essex Knights on the road
If the third time is the charm, then the Hawks can hope that luck will be on their side, as they try to earn a victory against the Knights of CCBC Essex.
After going 2-3 in the Dragon Invitational at Howard Community College over Labor Day weekend, the Knights dropped their most recent game against Harford Community College in four sets to move their record to 2-4 this season.
The Knights are led by sophomore outside hitter Ann Benzinger. Standing at 6'0, Benzinger leads the Knights in kills (68) and kills per set (3.09). Additionally, she is second on the team in digs (57), has eight total blocks, 18 service aces, and leads the Knights in hitting percentage (13.5%). Another key contributor for the Knights is outside hitter Annette Thrappas. The 5'8 freshman from Kingsville, MD is second on the team in kills (43), kills per set (1.95), hitting percentage (10.5%), and leads the Knights in digs (58).
Look for leadership from Hawks outside hitter Reagan Tuiasosopo. Through two games, she has 11 kills, averaging 1.83 kills per set, and 16 digs. Freshman Middle hitter Gabby Wilson is playing well for the Hawks also, recording six kills, four digs, and two aces so far this season.

The match begins at CCBC Essex at 6pm
