Hawks Take on Howard

The Hawks look to avenge their loss against Hagerstown when they hit the road to take on the Dragons of Howard CC. 

The Dragons are 4-5 this season, with a 3-0 record in conference play. They have a high powered offense that likes to score at will, as they have 25 goals on 160 shots, averaging just under three goals per game. To add to their offensive statistics, the Dragons are shooting on goal at 50.6%. They are led by sophomore midfielder Nikki Viera, who has five goals and six assists so far this season. Her teammate Grace Pritchett is tied with her in goals with five and has an assist as well. Kylie Toler likes to get involved in the Dragon offense as well, as she in second on the team in assists with four and has two goals this season as well.

In order for the Hawks to get out of their slump, leading goal scorer Karleigh Cohen will lead the charge. She has three goals this season on 17 shots, eight of them on goal, as well as an assist. Kerra Buerger had a two goal game in the Hawks last win against Cecil College, look for her to add help to the Hawks offense today as well. Jenna Purdy will look to find the open player in the offensive zone to score, as she leads the Hawks in assists. 

Faceoff is set for 4pm at Howard.
