The Hawks Cross Country team had a strong start to the season at the Hornet Harrier meet in Shenandoah.
In the men's division, Jeremy McGraw set a school record for running the 6K at 24:21.9, placing 89th of 120 finishers. That is the best men's time in school history.
In the women's division, CSM's Sierra Walker ran a time of 23:13 in the 5K, finishing 48th out of 111 finishers. Her time was good enough to place as tghe 2nd best time in CSM history.
The Hawks will continue to work and preapre for the Goucher Cross Country Classic on Saturday October 6th at 11:15 am.
