Hawks Fall to Essex 11-0

The Knights of CCBC Essex scored at will as the Hawks fell by a score of 11-0.

Essex was able to control the game right from the first faceoff. One minute and eleven seconds into the game Oscar Cruz-Osario was able to put the ball past Hawks goalie Hunter Vanzandt to put the Knights up 1-0. Essex would keep up the offensive pressure in the first half as four different Knights scored goals to extend their lead to 5-0 at the half.

Oscar Cruz Osario started the second half the same way he started the first, putting another goal past Vanzandt four minutes in to notch his sixth goal of the season. Four more Knights scored five goals, two of them coming from Giuseppe DeArcangelis, as 11 of the Knights' 20 shots were able to get past the netminders of the Hawks.

CSM will regroup before they face Montgomery College on Friday, October 2nd at 4pm.
