Hawks Fall to Hagerstown 7-1
CSM had a total of five shots, all of them on goal, while Hagerstown had 15 of their 26 shots on goal, which was a big difference maker in the Hawks' 7-1 loss to Hagerstown.
In the first half Hagerstown jumped out early in the first 60 seconds of the game when Logan Woodruff scored the game's first goal to take a 1-0 lead. At the 25 minute mark, Hagerstown's Chriss Jordan Oboa scored a goal on CSM goalie Hunter Vanzandt on an assist from Ryan Wagner to make the score 2-0. CSM would gain some momentum going into halftime when forward Nathaniel Morrison scored on a pass from Nicholas Stewart with two minutes left in the first half, making the score 2-1 in favor of Hagerstown.
Similar to the first half, Hagerstown started fast again as Woodruff scored his second goal of the game on an assist by Yusupha Fofana to make the score 3-1. Woofruff would complete a hat trick, Oboa would add his second goal, and teammates Javier Rojas Cubias and Justo Ordonez would score in the second half as Hagerstown improved to 3-3 on the season.
The Hawks will have a few days off before they travel to Prince George's Community College on Friday.
